The Upper Village of Oulx is located on a rocky spur where many historical places come together. What you must see during your stay in Oulx is just two hundred metres away from the BnB:
The Des Ambrois Residence: a noble, ancient residence built in 1552. It is the place where Louis Des Ambrois, the author of the Italian Constitution (the so-called “Albertine Statute”), was born. The residence has been preserved intact ever since.
The Bermond Residence: a noble, ancient residence with a vast courtyard and garden. The interior hall was designed in the imperial style. The stable and the hayloft originated in the 16th century.
The Gally Residence: it’s one of the village’s most ancient houses, the only one with its original, typical façade.

The parish church: it was built on an ancient Roman temple. The first mention of the presence of a church dates back to 1000. The church was renovated in the beginning of the 19th century and now it treasures the precious wooden “retables” from the 17th century.
Piazza del Forno (“Oven Square”), also known as Piazza Mistral: it is a tiny square in the heart of the Upper Village dominated by a functioning ancient oven where the inhabitants used to bake bread. The square boasts a beautiful fountain from the dauphin times. Jardin d’la Tour (“The Tower Garden”): a public park with a children’s playground with swings, slides and other playground equipment, a threatre stage and big space for sunbathing. In summer, animation service is provided to entertain children.
